A little "insight." This is Casey Neal's first Star Mazda race. He is very calm for a rookie. He does not have unrelenting tire weaving during on the pace lap. Much of the tire heat is developed from straight ahead accleration and braking. Casey is very comfortable with oversteer. He is all business. At the start he is well positioned and presses for the lead, but thinks better of it and tucks in behind the leader, only to get taken out on the first corner by another driver. I have watched Casey in the corners and he carries so much speed through a corner - his karting experience coming through! No wonder Casey was the Red Bull Driver's Search World Finalist. He is a very fine driver.
