New Sponsorship

Portland, OR, June
21, 2003: Drive4USA is proud to announce
the addition of FormulaCar Magazine as an official
sponsor of the successful driver development
initiative. FormulaCar Magazine will provide media
coverage of the program as well as additional
elements that will further the visibility and enhance
the credibility of Drive4USA.

Drive4USA initiative," said Rick Waddell, the
programs creator and director. "As a new
publication, they are the perfect choice for us to
move forward and together create a more positive
atmosphere for American drivers in open-wheel formula

the magazine can make in helping grow our
program."
Drive4USA is
continuing its 2003 program this weekend (June 21) at
Portland International Raceway with the young
sensation, Bryan Sellers in Toyota Atlantic
competition. Bryan Sellers will carry Drive4USA
sponsorship identification on his entry and will
serve as the flagship association for Drive4USA in
2003.
Drive4USAs goal
is to provide assistance to American drivers in order
to help them gain needed experience, expertise and
driving skill to compete effectively in ever more
challenging open wheel competition. Drive4USA is an
outgrowth of the successful Kart2CART initiative that
has assisted several drivers compete in the CART
sanctioned Toyota Atlantic series for the past
several years. Past recipients of Kart2CART
sponsorship assistance included Pete Mercier, Case
Montgomery, Andy Lally and last seasons Grant
Ryley. All competed in Toyota Atlantic competition
with Kart2CART financial support.
FormulaCar Magazine is
the third publication from Howden
Communications family of magazine titles. The
publisher of Shifter Kart Illustrated and Speedway
USA added FormulaCar Magazine to its titles in early
2003. Howden Communications anticipates that
FormulaCar Magazine will fill a void in motorsport
coverage of various open wheel racing divisions
including Star Mazda, US FF2000, Fran-Am and Barber
Pro Dodge.
